Director of Shareholder Relations
Michael Scadden is an Army veteran and alumnus of Florida International University, where he studied International Trade & Investment, and Latin America & Caribbean Studies. As a fully bilingual senior advisor on Stakeholder Relations and Alternative Risk Reduction, he brings insights spanning sectors and industries across the LAC region in his role as Stakeholder Relations Director at Fusion Farms.
Michael specializes in engaging with key leaders to find, connect, and develop collaborative Lines Of Effort between private, government, and community interests, while leveraging additional resources in the academic and nonprofit sectors for outcomes that benefit all stakeholders.
He grew up in Oregon in a semi-rural community, where his family raised a few chickens and cows, and where he spent many summers bucking hay. A decade and a half later he had the distinct opportunity to return to the agriculture industry as an interim director with a Norwegian ag firm’s Latin America division, where he was inspired to seek further opportunities in the sector, especially those that intersected with Corporate Social Responsibility and Risk Reduction.
Whether he is focusing on raising capital, engaging with government leaders, community outreach, or developing Multisector Collaborations, Michael is an enthusiastic advocate for the adoption of CEA technology and the impact that it will have on the future of Food Security, Public Health, Conservation, and Agribusiness.
